Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience working in a K-12 school environment preferred
• Knowledge of special education processes, including assessments, IEPs, and behavioral interventions
• Strong communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday, 35-40 hours weekly

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychological assessments for students to determine educational and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative services to students as needed
• Support teachers and staff with strategies to promote positive classroom behavior and emotional well-being
• Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to ethical standards and legal requirements within the educational setting
