Qualifications/Experience Desired:

  • Current and active Vermont School Psychologist license
  • Demonstrated experience working as a School Psychologist in K-12 settings
  • Proficient in identifying learning disabilities and familiarity with evidence-based evaluation tools
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple sites within walking distance
  • Comfortable completing 50-60 evaluations annually, including proper documentation and follow-up
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students across elementary, middle, and high school grades
  • Interpret assessment data and communicate actionable recommendations to educators and families
  • Participate in team meetings, including IEP and eligibility determinations, providing insights on students’ developmental and academic needs
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation on all evaluations and interventions
  • Support implementation of school-wide strategies to foster student success and well-being
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource on learning disabilities, guiding colleagues and offering consultative input
