Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Experience providing psychological assessments and interventions in educational settings
  • Strong understanding of IEPs, 504 plans, RTI/MTSS processes, and IDEA compliance
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and adaptability to changing school environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete psycho-educational assessments, observations, and effective data interpretation
  • Develop recommendations and contribute to the creation and implementation of IEPs and intervention strategies
  • Offer counseling and support services to students individually or in groups
  • Provide consultation expertise for teachers, support staff, and families
  • Participate in eligibility and team meetings, sharing insights for student success
  • Assist with crisis intervention and contribute to a positive, safe school climate
