Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- Experience providing psychological assessments and interventions in educational settings
- Strong understanding of IEPs, 504 plans, RTI/MTSS processes, and IDEA compliance
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated organizational skills and adaptability to changing school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete psycho-educational assessments, observations, and effective data interpretation
- Develop recommendations and contribute to the creation and implementation of IEPs and intervention strategies
- Offer counseling and support services to students individually or in groups
- Provide consultation expertise for teachers, support staff, and families
- Participate in eligibility and team meetings, sharing insights for student success
- Assist with crisis intervention and contribute to a positive, safe school climate
