Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Active, valid state certification and professional licensure as a School Psychologist are required
- Background in psychological assessment, intervention support, and collaboration within school settings
- Knowledge of special education laws and best practices for student evaluation and services
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments to determine students’ needs
- Develop and implement intervention strategies in collaboration with staff and families
- Counsel students individually and in small groups
- Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and participate in necessary meetings or conferences
