Your expertise in student mental health and behavioral strategies will be essential as you work with a diverse caseload, partnering with teachers, families, and other professionals to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive.
Desired Qualifications:
- Possess a valid MD School Psychology License
- Previous experience supporting preschool-12 student populations in educational settings
- Expertise in conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and facilitating individualized support
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently while integrating into multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to culturally responsive and ethical practices
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and report findings to IEP teams
- Develop and implement intervention strategies with classroom staff and parents
- Participate in crisis prevention and response efforts within the district
- Support multi-tiered systems of support and collaborate in developing student success plans
- Guide educators and families with expert recommendations for behavioral and academic progress
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality standards
