Help create positive educational environments by providing vital support and assessment services for students as a full-time, in-person School Psychologist. This contract opportunity runs from August 10th, 2026, through June 17th, 2027, and offers the chance to make a significant impact by collaborating with a dedicated Department of Student Services.

Your expertise in student mental health and behavioral strategies will be essential as you work with a diverse caseload, partnering with teachers, families, and other professionals to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Possess a valid MD School Psychology License
  • Previous experience supporting preschool-12 student populations in educational settings
  • Expertise in conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and facilitating individualized support
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently while integrating into multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to culturally responsive and ethical practices

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and report findings to IEP teams
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies with classroom staff and parents
  • Participate in crisis prevention and response efforts within the district
  • Support multi-tiered systems of support and collaborate in developing student success plans
  • Guide educators and families with expert recommendations for behavioral and academic progress
  • Maintain clear, accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality standards
