As the School Psychologist for a single-school district serving approximately 700 students, you’ll support PK–8 learners in an on-site, full-time role, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This opportunity allows you to develop your skills in a variety of settings, collaborate closely with dedicated educators, and gain invaluable experience that will enrich your resume. Qualifications:

  • Current IL PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement
  • Demonstrated expertise in play-based assessment techniques
  • Proficiency in conducting student evaluations using innovative, non-traditional methods beyond standardized psychoeducational tools
  • Passion for supporting the academic, behavioral, and emotional needs of PK-8 students

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning plans
  • Utilize play-based and alternative evaluation methods tailored to student needs
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and deliver timely recommendations
