Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
- Proven experience with assessments, counseling, and interventions in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and special education law
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
- Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing emotional and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents on the development and implementation of IEPs and behavior intervention plans
- Consult with school teams to promote a positive climate and offer strategies for improving student outcomes
- Lead crisis intervention and prevention efforts, offering guidance in challenging situations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
