Grades K - 5 Grades 9 - 12 School Psychologist in Cambridge, MA

Make a meaningful impact supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade as a School Psychologist on a contract basis. In this role, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to help students overcome academic, social, and emotional challenges. Qualifications:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience with K-5 and/or 9-12 student populations preferred
• Ability to conduct assessments, interpret results, and communicate findings effectively
• Strong collaboration skills with teachers, administrators, and families
• Experience in developing and implementing intervention strategies
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations for students in grades K-5 and 9-12
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support as needed
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise to support student success
• Offer recommendations for classroom accommodations and strategies
• Maintain thorough records and prepare necessary reports
• Communicate effectively with families to ensure an inclusive approach to student well-being
