Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure (state eligibility required)
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of educational testing, assessment tools, and intervention strategies
  • Experience developing IEPs and participating in multidisciplinary teams
  • Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to cultural sensitivity and diversity in school settings
  • Previous experience in K-12 school environments preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify student needs
  • Provide counseling, consultation, and intervention services to students individually or in groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective support plans
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and help design behavior intervention strategies
  • Maintain thorough records and documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Deliver crisis intervention and participate in school-wide mental health initiatives
