Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a School Psychologist (new graduates and experienced professionals welcome)
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Knowledge of assessment tools, interventions, and special education guidelines
- Ability to manage a K-12 caseload, adapt to various grade levels, and tailor support accordingly
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and collaborative teamwork
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and write informative reports
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary meetings
- Provide direct and consultative support to students, teachers, and families
- Develop and implement interventions to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with educators and additional support staff to promote a positive school culture
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with district and state policies
