Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a School Psychologist (new graduates and experienced professionals welcome)
  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Knowledge of assessment tools, interventions, and special education guidelines
  • Ability to manage a K-12 caseload, adapt to various grade levels, and tailor support accordingly
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and collaborative teamwork

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and write informative reports
  • Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary meetings
  • Provide direct and consultative support to students, teachers, and families
  • Develop and implement interventions to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with educators and additional support staff to promote a positive school culture
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with district and state policies
