Key Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania School Psychologist Certification is required
- Experience with school-aged populations, particularly middle and high school students
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are highly preferred
- Proven ability to manage a caseload of 50-100 initial evaluations annually
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and staff
- Strong assessment, consultation, and crisis intervention skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, initial assessments, and re-evaluations as needed
- Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development through counseling and consultation
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor effective student support plans
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and recommend appropriate interventions or accommodations
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with district and regulatory requirements
- Provide crisis intervention and support as necessary within the school community
