Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Pennsylvania School Psychologist Certification is required
  • Experience with school-aged populations, particularly middle and high school students
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are highly preferred
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload of 50-100 initial evaluations annually
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and staff
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and crisis intervention skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, initial assessments, and re-evaluations as needed
  • Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development through counseling and consultation
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor effective student support plans
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and recommend appropriate interventions or accommodations
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with district and regulatory requirements
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as necessary within the school community
