Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with students in K-12 settings preferred
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Compassionate and student-centered approach
  • Familiarity with educational law, best practices, and ethical guidelines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized education and intervention plans
  • Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary
  • Facilitate social, behavioral, and emotional support programs and counseling
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to address students’ academic and mental health needs
  • Maintain thorough records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
  • Deliver on-going consultation and recommendations for instructional and behavioral strategies
