A full-time School Psychologist position is available onsite, serving multiple campuses within a high school setting in Canton, MI. This contract role offers the opportunity to work closely with a dynamic special education population of 110-120 students, providing essential psychological services across four campuses.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing intervention strategies, collaborating with educators and families, and supporting the overall mental health and academic success of students within the special education program. The role requires comprehensive evaluation of cognitive, behavioral, and emotional needs, as well as active participation in multidisciplinary team meetings.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure
  • Experience working with diverse student populations, particularly in special education
  • Strong skills in conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results
  • Ability to develop and recommend appropriate interventions and supports
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with staff, students, and families
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal education guidelines and compliance standards

Location: Canton, Michigan
