The position begins at the start of the school year on July 7th, offering a meaningful role in shaping student success.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
- Experience working with SPED students at the high school level
- Familiarity with multi-campus responsibilities
- Strong assessment, counseling, and collaborative skills
- Ability to adapt strategies and services to meet individual student needs
- Effective communication with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and participate in IEP meetings
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans for students
- Collaborate with special education teams and general educators
- Provide counseling and behavioral supports for SPED students
- Consult with families regarding students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional growth
- Maintain accurate documentation and meet all compliance requirements
- Respond to crisis situations and offer interventions as needed
- Support a positive, inclusive school culture across multiple campuses
