This contract role begins ASAP and runs through June 5, 2026, with a strong possibility of renewal for the 2026-2027 school year. The position offers flexibility for full-time or part-time arrangements, with the requirement to be onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services to K-12 students, including assessments, counseling, and intervention planning.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' academic and social-emotional development.
- Conduct evaluations for special education eligibility and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Promote mental health awareness and implement strategies that foster a positive school climate.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active, valid Michigan School Psychologist license.
- Master’s degree in School Psychology from an accredited college or university.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
