Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification/license (state requirements apply)
  • Experience working in PreK-12 educational environments preferred
  • Proficiency in conducting evaluations, assessments, and developing intervention plans
  • Strong communication, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS)
  • Excellent organizational skills and a commitment to collaborative team processes

Core Responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students
  • Provide individual and group counseling as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Develop and monitor intervention plans for academic, behavioral, or emotional needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for appropriate services
  • Respond to crisis situations and support school-wide social-emotional initiatives
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines
