Key Qualifications:
- Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
- Prior experience working in educational settings
- Strong understanding of current best practices in school psychology and student support
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to help guide individualized student learning plans
- Interpret data to develop effective interventions, modifications, and supports tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor IEPs and 504 plans
- Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services to support social and emotional wellness
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and serve as a resource on student mental health and learning challenges
- Assist in the development and implementation of proactive prevention programs within the school community
