Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity working as a School Psychologist near Canton, NY for the 2026/2027 school year. In this dynamic role, you will serve as both a Psychological and Behavioral Consultant, engaging directly with students, teachers, and administrators to foster a thriving learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results for students in K–12 settings
• Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Play an active role in IEP meetings, collaborating with educational teams to create individualized education plans
• Offer expert consultation and guidance to teachers and staff to support academic achievement, behavioral health, and social-emotional growth
• Monitor classrooms, create personalized plans for student success, and support the implementation of evidence-based interventions in both general and special education
• Participate in crisis intervention efforts, contributing to a safe and positive school atmosphere
• Use data-driven practices to monitor student progress and inform ongoing educational decisions

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
• Valid NY School Psychologist Certification
• Prior experience working within K–12 school systems preferred
• Strong assessment skills alongside excellent communication and teamwork abilities
