Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results to guide student support
- Participate in Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and design/implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Join IEP meetings, assisting in personalized education plan development
- Consult with teachers and staff on academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Monitor students in-class, create individualized strategies, and oversee effective interventions
- Contribute to crisis intervention and maintain a positive, safe learning environment
- Utilize data-driven practices to continuously assess and adjust support plans
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology
- Valid New York School Psychologist Certification
- Prior experience in K–12 settings preferred
- Skilled in assessment, collaboration, and communication
