This is an on-site opportunity (not available for remote/VOCO work), with assignments potentially covering multiple locations in an itinerant capacity.
You’ll collaborate with educational teams, conduct assessments, contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEP), and provide crucial support to students across varied age groups. The position begins August 11, 2026 and continues through May 27, 2027, offering consistent full-time hours (35 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students as part of the special education process
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with staff and families
- Prepare detailed reports outlining assessment findings and recommendations
- Travel between schools as needed, supporting diverse student needs throughout the district
- Consult with teachers and administrators to optimize learning strategies and interventions
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health Psychologist license required
- Proven experience with student assessments; direct school-based work preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and report writing skills
