Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid and current state certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience with psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention services in a school environment
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, educational law, and best practices for student services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to cultural competence, advocacy, and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and assessments to determine eligibility for special education services
- Provide consultation, collaboration, and support to teachers, administrators, and parents on academic and behavioral interventions
- Develop, monitor, and participate in the implementation of student IEPs and 504 plans
- Offer individual and group counseling services to students as needed
- Participate actively in student support teams, crisis intervention, and school-wide prevention programs
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation in a timely manner
