School Psychologist - Carmel, Indiana

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid School Psychologist certification
• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
• Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and manage multiple priorities
• Knowledge of special education processes and legal requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and interpret results to identify students’ educational and behavioral needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation services
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations
• Promote positive behavior and mental health through prevention and intervention strategies
