Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist license (required)
- Experience in school settings, particularly at the elementary level, preferred
- Strong understanding of mild interventions and ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
- Capacity to travel between two school buildings as part of a dynamic weekly schedule
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and support for students across two elementary schools
- Conduct approximately 10-15 evaluations at each location throughout the year, focusing primarily on mild intervention needs
- Consult with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
- Deliver individual and group counseling when needed, helping students overcome academic and behavioral challenges
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all policies and regulations
