Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification and appropriate state licensure
  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, intervention strategies, and Individualized Education Plan (IEP) development
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Prior experience in a K-12 educational setting is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families on intervention planning and student support
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on evaluation results and recommendations
  • Support students with behavioral, emotional, or social challenges
  • Design and promote effective behavioral management strategies
  • Offer crisis intervention and counseling as needed
  • Facilitate staff and parent training on best practices in mental health and learning support
