Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience conducting psychological and educational assessments
- Background in developing and implementing IEPs, BIPs, and 504 plans
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly regarded
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education services
- Interpret assessment results and share findings with school teams and families
- Develop individualized recommendations to address academic and behavioral challenges
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to design IEPs and other support plans
- Provide consultation to teachers, staff, and families regarding student needs and interventions
- Foster positive, inclusive school culture through direct and indirect student services
