School Psychologist in Carrollton, VA

What You Bring:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience in school settings preferred
• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive student evaluations, including cognitive assessments, rating scales, and classroom observations
• Familiarity with guiding multidisciplinary teams through the eligibility process and interpreting eligibility criteria worksheets
• Skill in participating in student-focused meetings such as re-evaluations, eligibility, manifestation determination, and termination meetings
• Collaborative spirit for working within a team of psychologists, educational diagnosticians, and service providers
• Flexibility to adapt to varying caseloads and work across school sites as needed

What You’ll Do:

• Provide psychological services on-site, supporting K-12 students across multiple locations
• Conduct evaluations and interpret data for eligibilities
• Act as a resource for intervention plans, RTI, and guidance for eligibility meetings
• Collaborate with educational diagnosticians and service providers
• Offer expertise in assessing students’ cognitive, academic, and emotional needs
• Facilitate student-centered discussions within team meetings and consultations
