As a vital member of this close-knit interdisciplinary team, you’ll play a key part in supporting students’ educational journeys. Your caseload can be tailored to your strengths and preferences whenever possible. You’ll work closely with Educational Diagnosticians, social workers, and related service providers—ensuring you’re supported every step of the way.
What you’ll bring:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of cog testing, behavioral interventions, and rating scales
- Familiarity with eligibility interpretation and special education procedures
- Ability to multitask and adapt to rotating assignments across 2-3 school sites, as needed
- Willingness to engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting student evaluations, including cognitive testing and classroom observations
- Participating in reevals, eligibility, manifestation, and termination meetings
- Guiding school teams through eligibility determination processes
- Collaborating daily with educational diagnosticians, who administer achievement testing
- Interpreting eligibility data and helping complete related documentation
- Engaging in designated meeting days dedicated to child study and eligibility reviews
