Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist license in North Carolina (required)
  • Certified to work with K-12 students, including elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Previous experience in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments within school settings
  • Strong knowledge of special education processes and best practices for diverse student populations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform evaluations and assessments for students across kindergarten to 12th grade
  • Interpret assessment results to inform eligibility and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop data-driven recommendations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights to ensure compatibility with each student's unique educational needs
