Middle School Certified School Psychologist in Cary, NC

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid North Carolina School Psychologist license required
• Previous experience working with K-12 students in school settings preferred
• Familiarity with conducting evaluations and psychological assessments
• Comfortable collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
• Strong communication, organization, and report writing skills
• Certified to serve both elementary and secondary school levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students across K-12
• Consult with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop evidence-based intervention strategies
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
• Support students’ social, emotional, and academic growth through targeted assessments and recommendations
• Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations and guidelines
• Serve as an advocate for students, helping foster a positive learning environment
