Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid North Carolina School Psychologist license required
- Previous experience working with K-12 students in school settings preferred
- Familiarity with conducting evaluations and psychological assessments
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
- Strong communication, organization, and report writing skills
- Certified to serve both elementary and secondary school levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students across K-12
- Consult with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop evidence-based intervention strategies
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
- Support students’ social, emotional, and academic growth through targeted assessments and recommendations
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations and guidelines
- Serve as an advocate for students, helping foster a positive learning environment
