Key Qualifications:

  • Current, valid North Carolina School Psychologist license is required
  • Experience with K-12 student populations preferred
  • Certification as a School Psychologist
  • Skilled in conducting evaluations and assessments for diverse age groups
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability across elementary, middle, and high school settings
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Role Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological assessments and interpret results for K-12 students
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student needs
  • Develop and recommend individualized intervention strategies and accommodations
  • Participate in IEP/504 meetings and offer expertise for student planning
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records of assessments, interventions, and communications
  • Provide consultation to staff and families regarding student learning, behavior, and mental wellness
  • Support a positive school climate through evidence-based practices
