Key Qualifications:
- Current, valid North Carolina School Psychologist license is required
- Experience with K-12 student populations preferred
- Certification as a School Psychologist
- Skilled in conducting evaluations and assessments for diverse age groups
- Strong communication skills and adaptability across elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Role Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological assessments and interpret results for K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student needs
- Develop and recommend individualized intervention strategies and accommodations
- Participate in IEP/504 meetings and offer expertise for student planning
- Maintain accurate, confidential records of assessments, interventions, and communications
- Provide consultation to staff and families regarding student learning, behavior, and mental wellness
- Support a positive school climate through evidence-based practices
