Step into an impactful role supporting students as a contracted school psychologist, providing vital counseling and psychoeducational evaluation services. This position offers the chance to make a difference throughout both the Extended School Year (ESY) and regular academic calendar. You’ll deliver counseling in June 2026 with an ongoing opportunity to continue through the 2026–2027 school year.

Role Highlights:

  • Deliver one-on-one or group counseling sessions to students during ESY (June 2026, approximately 4 hours per week, 1 day per week)
  • Continue services as the school year resumes (August 2026–June 2027: 2–3 days per week, approximately 6 hours per day)
  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for Special Education eligibility and Gifted and Talented program determination
  • Maintain accurate service logs and timely documentation to ensure compliance
  • Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing expertise and collaborative input
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and staff to support the social, emotional, and academic well-being of the entire school community

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid license as a psychologist
  • Demonstrated experience conducting psychological and educational evaluations in educational settings
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and Special Education compliance requirements
  • Understanding of, or an interest in working within, the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) system
  • Strong organization and communication skills, with an emphasis on evaluation, documentation, and collaboration
