Discover an exciting opportunity to work as a School Psychologist on a contract basis in the Casa Grande, AZ area. This position serves high school students ages 14–22, supporting their academic, emotional, and social growth. The assignment runs from July 7th through May 28th, 2027, offering a steady, rewarding role for professionals dedicated to student well-being.
As part of this position, you'll work full-time for 34 hours a week. You'll enjoy a balanced schedule—four days onsite at the school, and four hours on Wednesdays set aside for at-home documentation and indirect services. This hybrid arrangement lets you maintain impactful face-to-face connections while ensuring time for thoughtful planning and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and psychological assessments
- Perform classroom and behavioral observations to support intervention planning
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and families to develop effective plans
- Promote mental health awareness throughout the school community, providing guidance and resources to students and staff
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Arizona School Psychologist certification (required)
- Previous experience with high school-aged students preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, consultation, and documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive school environment
Eligible candidates for this role may receive compensation ranging from $45/hr to $56/hr. In addition, candidates may access healthcare benefits, as well as support for housing and meals/incidentals while on assignment.
