Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification for Wyoming (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience performing assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering counseling/interventions in a school setting
  • Strong knowledge of current special education law and best practices
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and functional behavior assessments
  • Lead and participate in IEP meetings, offering expert recommendations for student supports
  • Implement evidence-based interventions for academic, social, and behavioral concerns
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services to students and staff
  • Support the Response to Intervention (RTI) process and assist in data-driven decision making
  • Help facilitate a safe, nurturing, and inclusive school climate
