School Psychologist - Casper, Wyoming

Make a meaningful impact as a School Psychologist supporting students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral growth in a contract role situated near Casper, WY. You’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff, helping create a positive learning environment and delivering comprehensive psychological services within the school setting.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure for Wyoming (or eligibility to obtain)
• Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Prior experience providing psychological or counseling services in educational settings preferred
• Strong understanding of special education laws, IEP development, and MTSS/RTI processes
• Exceptional communication, consultation, and rapport-building skills with students, staff, and parents
• Ability to conduct assessments, write detailed reports, and present findings clearly
• Organizational strengths and an adaptable, problem-solving approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer psychological, academic, and behavioral assessments to evaluate student needs
• Interpret assessment results and collaborate on IEP development for students with special needs
• Support crisis intervention, behavioral planning, and response strategies
• Consult with educators and families to implement effective classroom and school-wide supports
• Facilitate individual or group counseling as needed
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Promote inclusivity and positive school climates through proactive prevention and intervention programs
