School Psychologist in Castle Rock, WA

As a valued professional in this position, you'll provide comprehensive psychological services to students with varying disabilities, from mild to severe. Working Monday through Friday for seven hours each day, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and support both students and staff in an engaging, supportive environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Washington State certification as a School Psychologist (required)
• Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students
• Strong understanding of diverse disabilities and effective intervention strategies
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
• Commitment to ethical practice, cultural responsiveness, and equity

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine student eligibility for special education services
• Interpret psychological and educational data for individualized planning
• Participate in IEP meetings and make informed recommendations
• Provide direct counseling and consultation services to support student growth
• Support teachers and families in developing strategies for success in and out of the classroom
• Contribute to the creation of safe, inclusive, and developmental-appropriate learning environments
