Qualifications:

• Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
• Master’s or specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local special education regulations
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and developing intervention plans
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
• Capacity to build rapport with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ cognitive, academic, social, and emotional development through standardized tools and observations
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to determine eligibility for special education services
• Provide direct and indirect psychological services to students, including counseling, crisis intervention, and social skills training
• Develop and help implement behavior intervention plans and individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Offer consultation to educators and families to address students’ needs and promote positive outcomes
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and confidentiality per educational guidelines
