Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure as required by the state
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience in assessments, counseling, and intervention planning within school settings
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and staff
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, contract environment and navigate MSP systems
- Keen understanding of learning, behavior, and mental health matters in PK-12 populations
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral evaluations
- Provide consultation and recommendations to teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and well-being
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized educational and behavioral intervention plans
- Deliver individual and group counseling as appropriate to student needs
- Assist with Response to Intervention (RTI), IEP meetings, and crisis interventions
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Collaborate with educators and allied professionals to implement support strategies
