Key Qualifications:
- Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Valid state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting evaluations, developing recommendations, and supporting Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong understanding of emotional, behavioral, and academic assessment tools
- Excellent communication, consultation, and advocacy skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform psychoeducational assessments to help identify students’ academic and behavioral strengths and needs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement behavioral and academic interventions
- Provide counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to support student success
- Consult with parents and caregivers, offering guidance and resources to support learning at home
- Maintain thorough, confidential documentation and collaborate on reporting requirements
