Step into a vital role shaping the educational experience for middle school students as a contract school psychologist. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work 30 hours per week (Monday through Friday, 6 hours per day), providing both critical evaluations and meaningful student support.

In this role, you'll focus on administering evaluations while also collaborating with staff to meet students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Experience supporting students with counseling goals outlined in IEPs and implementing effective tiered interventions is important. Your contributions will help cultivate a supportive and inclusive school environment where every student can thrive.

What we’re seeking:

  • At least three years of relevant experience working as a school psychologist, preferably at the middle school level
  • Master’s degree in School Psychology or a closely related field (preferred)
  • Strong background in supporting students with behavioral, mental health, social, and emotional challenges
  • Knowledge and experience with tiered intervention strategies and SEL (Social Emotional Learning) curriculum
  • Proven ability to support students with counseling goals as specified in IEPs
  • Commitment to ethical practice and upholding student confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with staff, families, and outside agencies

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for middle school students
  • Provide support for students receiving counseling as part of their IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers and administration to implement SEL programming and tiered interventions
  • Develop and present findings clearly in written reports and meetings
  • Engage with families and other professionals to develop effective interventions and supports
