This full-time, contract-based opportunity spans approximately 39 hours per week, blending direct student interaction with collaborative teamwork and professional development. Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification as a School Psychologist (state and national credentials preferred)
  • Previous experience working with K-8 students in school settings
  • Strong background in conducting student evaluations and writing comprehensive reports
  • Ability to participate effectively in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible, adaptable, and collaborative approach to student support

Core Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological and educational assessments for K-8 students
  • Interpret evaluation results and assist in developing appropriate interventions and supports
  • Attend and actively participate in staff, parent, and eligibility meetings
  • Provide behavioral and social-emotional support when Student Support Services/Social Worker is unavailable
  • Engage in weekly professional development on Wednesdays, extending the day for collaborative growth
  • Maintain and update accurate student records and documentation

Schedule and Details:

  • Standard school hours are 7:45 am–3:15 pm, Monday–Friday
  • Attend after-school professional development on Wednesdays until 4:45 pm
  • Serve as a vital resource in both academic and social-emotional support systems
