School Psychologist

Location: Central Falls, RI
Setting: K–8
Schedule: Full-Time, Approximately 39 Hours per Week
Hours: 7:45 AM – 3:15 PM
Wednesday: 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM for Professional Development
Work Arrangement: Onsite

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology required
• Valid Rhode Island School Psychologist certification or eligibility required
• School-based experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of psychoeducational evaluations, special education, and IEP processes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Pay: $45+ per hour, based on experience

Position Details

• Full-time School Psychologist supporting students in K–8
• Conduct evaluations and support the special education evaluation process
• Participate in and support school meetings
• Provide student support when the School Social Worker is unavailable
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families
• Professional Development on Wednesdays until 4:45 PM
• Ready to interview ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
• Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings
• Support multidisciplinary team meetings
• Provide student support and behavioral assistance as needed
• Collaborate with school staff and families
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
