Make a positive impact on students’ lives as a School Psychologist in a full-time, in-person contract role supporting a local school setting near Central Point, OR. You'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to foster a supportive learning environment, providing essential psychological assessments, consultations, and interventions.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Previous experience in a school-based role (strongly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of special education law, IEP processes, and best practices in psychoeducational assessment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to manage caseloads and organize documentation with attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments to identify students' needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to help craft effective support plans
  • Provide counseling, behavioral intervention, and crisis response services as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth and well-being
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulations and school policies
  • Advocate for students’ mental health and learning needs within the educational system
