This position offers an opportunity to serve as a School Psychologist within an elementary school setting in Centralia, WA, working under a contract from January 5th through June 12th with potential extra days added for snow-related closures. The role supports multiple school sites with a caseload ratio of 1 psychologist per 1,000 students and involves primarily working with elementary students, along with some opportunities in high school and preschool settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological testing for initial evaluations and re-evaluations.
  • Manage referrals and maintain an assigned caseload.
  • Collaborate within a hybrid work model: 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.
  • Provide services across three school sites.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Washington State School Psychologist License required.
  • Valid driver’s license and Social Security card needed for background verification.
  • Preferably over 2 years of experience; strong candidates with less experience, including new graduates, will be considered.
  • Ability to conduct approximately 60 initial evaluations over the course of the contract period, excluding re-evaluations.

Work Schedule and Environment:

  • 37.5 hours per week standard; up to 40 hours with prior approval.
  • Hybrid schedule offering a balance of onsite engagement and remote flexibility.
  • Position focused predominantly on elementary education with potential to engage preschool programs.

Interview Availability:

  • Interviews are scheduled between December 15th and 19th, with flexible scheduling to accommodate candidates.
