Step into a vital role supporting students' well-being and academic growth as a full-time school psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. Working with elementary and middle school students, you'll play a key part in guiding young learners with diverse needs, ranging from mild to severe disabilities. This contract position offers a vibrant work environment where your expertise is valued and your impact is far-reaching.

Your Schedule and Impact: Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, working 7 hours each day, giving you the ability to truly connect with students and staff while maintaining work-life balance. As an essential member of the student support team, your insights and interventions will help foster a positive learning environment for all.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Washington State Certified School Psychologist (current and valid)
  • Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students
  • Competence in addressing a variety of student disabilities and learning challenges
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Effective communication skills with students, families, and staff
  • Collaborative approach to problem-solving and individualized education planning

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to inform interventions
  • Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct and indirect support to students with diverse disabilities
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote student success
  • Recommend evidence-based strategies to address behavioral and academic concerns
  • Help create supportive and inclusive environments in alignment with best practices

This opportunity comes with a competitive range of $55 to $65 per hour, reflecting the value of your essential role.
