Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid Washington state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students within school settings highly desired
- Strong understanding of assessment tools, special education processes, and IEP development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with educators and families
- Self-motivation and organizational skills to balance onsite and remote responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments onsite for students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support educational planning, including special education eligibility decisions
- Prepare detailed, actionable assessment reports remotely
- Participate in IEP meetings, either onsite or virtually, to help tailor plans that foster academic and social-emotional growth
- Consult with staff and families to build supportive learning environments
- Engage in ongoing professional development to ensure best practices are in place
