Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid Washington state ESA certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience with comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students in K-12 settings
  • Strong understanding of special education laws, eligibility determination, and IEP processes
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficiency in virtual technology for conducting meetings and report writing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-person psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for referred students
  • Prepare detailed and timely reports, leveraging remote work options for documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings, with flexibility for virtual attendance as permitted
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to develop and implement student support plans
  • Provide consultation and advice to school staff regarding interventions, behavioral strategies, and data-driven decision-making
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all applicable federal, state, and district guidelines
