Essential Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid Washington state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with K-12 students within school settings highly desired
  • Strong understanding of assessment tools, special education processes, and IEP development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with educators and families
  • Self-motivation and organizational skills to balance onsite and remote responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments onsite for students
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support educational planning, including special education eligibility decisions
  • Prepare detailed, actionable assessment reports remotely
  • Participate in IEP meetings, either onsite or virtually, to help tailor plans that foster academic and social-emotional growth
  • Consult with staff and families to build supportive learning environments
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to ensure best practices are in place

You’ll have the freedom to work remotely for significant portions of your caseload while making a direct impact during in-person assessments. With pay ranging from $50 to $65 per hour, this position offers competitive compensation and a healthy work-life balance.
