Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid Washington state ESA certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience with comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students in K-12 settings
- Strong understanding of special education laws, eligibility determination, and IEP processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in virtual technology for conducting meetings and report writing
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for referred students
- Prepare detailed and timely reports, leveraging remote work options for documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, with flexibility for virtual attendance as permitted
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to develop and implement student support plans
- Provide consultation and advice to school staff regarding interventions, behavioral strategies, and data-driven decision-making
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all applicable federal, state, and district guidelines
