The position is based onsite, with consideration for a hybrid arrangement (three days onsite, two days remote), and is open to candidates interested in telepractice as well.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland School Psychologist license (required)
- Demonstrated experience with IEPs, BIPs, MTSS, and conducting a full range of psychological assessments
- In-depth understanding of executive function, behavior interventions, and cognitive testing in school-aged children
- Ability to consult effectively on eligibility, 504 plans, and student support strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills working with multidisciplinary teams
- Prior experience in elementary school settings preferred
Role Responsibilities:
- Guide and support teams in the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs and BIPs
- Conduct cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments to inform educational decisions
- Consult on student eligibility for services, 504 plans, and contribute actively to the MTSS process
- Provide direct interventions in the areas of executive function, behavior management, and crisis response
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school administrators to foster positive learning environments
- Maintain detailed, timely documentation and participate fully in school-based meetings
