This contract opportunity spans the academic year, serving two elementary schools in a dynamic environment focused on student well-being and academic success. The position is based onsite, with consideration for a hybrid arrangement (three days onsite, two days remote), and is open to candidates interested in telepractice as well.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Maryland School Psychologist license (required)
  • Demonstrated experience with IEPs, BIPs, MTSS, and conducting a full range of psychological assessments
  • In-depth understanding of executive function, behavior interventions, and cognitive testing in school-aged children
  • Ability to consult effectively on eligibility, 504 plans, and student support strategies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Prior experience in elementary school settings preferred

Role Responsibilities:

  • Guide and support teams in the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs and BIPs
  • Conduct cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments to inform educational decisions
  • Consult on student eligibility for services, 504 plans, and contribute actively to the MTSS process
  • Provide direct interventions in the areas of executive function, behavior management, and crisis response
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school administrators to foster positive learning environments
  • Maintain detailed, timely documentation and participate fully in school-based meetings
