What you'll bring to this role:

  • Valid California School Psychologist License (required)
  • Prior experience working with elementary school students preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Ability to develop and implement interventions for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with special education evaluations, IEP meetings, and federal/state education regulations

In this position, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for elementary students
  • Providing individual and group counseling services
  • Collaborating with teachers and staff to develop effective intervention strategies
  • Participating in IEP meetings and assisting in the development of appropriate accommodations and supports
  • Promoting a positive school climate and advocating for students' diverse learning needs
  • Maintaining thorough, confidential documentation and compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards
