Exciting opportunity available for an experienced School Psychologist to support K-6th grade students in a vibrant school environment near Chapel Hill, NC. This full-time, contract position is ideal for a compassionate and resourceful professional dedicated to making a meaningful difference in students’ academic and emotional well-being.

As a School Psychologist, you’ll work in-person to provide expert evaluations and assessments, collaborating with faculty, families, and staff to develop and implement effective interventions. Your expertise will play a vital role in identifying students’ needs, advocating for resources, and supporting positive educational outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Active School Psychologist certification or licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in North Carolina
  • Experience conducting evaluations and assessments for K-6th grade students
  • Familiarity with data-driven intervention planning and progress monitoring
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to inform student support plans
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff regarding student needs and strategies
  • Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions
  • Promote safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments for all students
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies
