This full-time contract opportunity (37.5 hours per week) invites a dedicated professional to provide expertise and advocacy across elementary, middle, and high school settings.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current, valid School Psychologist license in North Carolina (NC).
- Prior experience or certification working across K-12 grade levels, from elementary through high school.
- Strong background in administering and interpreting psychological, academic, and behavioral assessments.
- Demonstrated ability in conducting comprehensive evaluations and developing action plans.
- Excellent collaborative and communication skills for interfacing with students, staff, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of psychological assessments, including cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral evaluations, for students in grades K-12.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to interpret assessment results and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans.
- Provide consultative support and expertise regarding student needs, creating a safe and supportive environment for all learners.
- Facilitate parent and staff meetings as needed, clearly communicating findings and recommendations.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts throughout the school community.
