Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current, valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psycho-educational assessments, behavioral interventions, and crisis response
- Strong understanding of special education laws, RTI/MTSS frameworks, and IEP development
- Exceptional communication and consultation abilities for working with students, parents, and staff
- Capacity for independent time management in a dynamic, school-based setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete cognitive, academic, and behavioral evaluations for eligibility and program planning
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, offering expertise in assessment and intervention
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop evidence-based interventions and positive behavioral supports
- Provide counseling services to students individually and in groups to promote emotional well-being
- Collaborate on the creation and implementation of IEPs, Section 504 plans, and school-wide prevention initiatives
- Engage in crisis intervention, risk assessment, and support school communities as needed
