School Psychologist in Charleston, SC

Exciting opportunity available for a dedicated School Psychologist to support students across K-12 grades in a vibrant educational environment near Charleston, South Carolina! This new, full-time contract position allows you to make a meaningful impact, focusing on evaluations and assessments without the responsibility of counseling. As an onsite role, you’ll work closely with students, faculty, and educational teams to promote positive learning outcomes and growth.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience providing psychological services in school settings (K-12 preferred)
• Strong background in performing psycho-educational evaluations and assessments
• Familiarity with IEP processes and other special education documentation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive student evaluations, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
• Interpret and present findings to staff and families in a clear, supportive manner
• Participate in eligibility determination meetings and provide recommendations for interventions or services
• Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to facilitate student success plans
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per school and district standards
• Adhere to all professional ethical guidelines and state/federal regulations
