Exciting new full-time opportunity for a dedicated school psychologist to support K-12 students! This is a contract position in a vibrant educational community near Charleston, SC, where your expertise will make a valuable impact throughout the school year. As part of a collaborative team, you'll play a vital role assisting students and school staff in achieving positive academic outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist licensure in South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience conducting student evaluations and assessments across grades K-12
  • Deep understanding of educational testing procedures and relevant federal/state regulations
  • Skilled at collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Previous school-based experience preferred

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for K-12 students
  • Accurately interpret data to help guide student supports and interventions
  • Participate in eligibility and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to develop appropriate student plans
  • Offer consultative support to educators and families regarding educational needs
  • Stay onsite during contract hours – this role does not include counseling duties
