In this role, you'll travel between schools, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to student success through evidence-based practices.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification is required
- Experience working within K-12th grade educational environments
- Strong background in implementing Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
- Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and comprehensive evaluations
- Skilled in preparing for and participating in IEP meetings
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently while managing a varied caseload across multiple school sites
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide school-based psychological services to K-12 students as an itinerant professional
- Conduct thorough evaluations and interpret assessment data to inform intervention and placement decisions
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary teams and IEP meetings
- Design and support MTSS implementation for academic and behavioral interventions
- Consult with educators, families, and administrators to develop effective student plans
- Promote positive mental health and overall well-being within the school communities you serve
This role offers a competitive hourly compensation ranging from $50 to $55 based on experience and fit.
