Qualifications and Experience:
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Strong foundation in administering and interpreting psychoeducational assessments
- Experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary educational team
- Familiarity with developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans
- Commitment to evidence-based interventions and advocacy for student needs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to build relationships with students, families, and staff
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to inform student support plans
- Serve as a resource for teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student progress
- Develop recommendations for behavioral, academic, and emotional interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of tailored educational plans
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district policies
- Stay current with best practices in school psychology and student services
