Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
  • Strong foundation in administering and interpreting psychoeducational assessments
  • Experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary educational team
  • Familiarity with developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans
  • Commitment to evidence-based interventions and advocacy for student needs
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to build relationships with students, families, and staff

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to inform student support plans
  • Serve as a resource for teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student progress
  • Develop recommendations for behavioral, academic, and emotional interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of tailored educational plans
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district policies
  • Stay current with best practices in school psychology and student services
