Elementary Middle School School Psychologist in Charlotte, NC

What we’re seeking:

• Current certification as a School Psychologist
• Valid North Carolina licensure (required)
• Experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school populations
• Familiarity with a range of psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Capacity to manage a diverse K-12 caseload

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students referred through the special education process
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies supporting student success
• Interpret assessment data and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed within the school environment
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and deliver recommendations grounded in evidence-based practice
