Key Qualifications:

  • Current School Psychologist certification and active North Carolina licensure (NC required)
  • Experience working with students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels preferred
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills
  • Proficiency in conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students K-12
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Role Responsibilities:

  • Administering psychoeducational assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs
  • Developing and implementing intervention strategies to support student learning and development
  • Consulting with teachers, parents, and administrators to interpret assessment results and recommend interventions
  • Documenting findings, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate, confidential records
  • Supporting the Response to Intervention (RTI) process and participating in IEP meetings as needed
  • Providing crisis intervention and behavior management strategies
