Your expertise will be vital in conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments, consulting with teachers and parents, and guiding students across elementary, middle, and high school settings. Collaborate with educators and support teams to foster positive learning environments and contribute to students’ well-being.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current and valid North Carolina School Psychologist license
- Certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school populations
- Strong knowledge of psychological testing, data interpretation, and individualized education plans
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Comfortable working with diverse K-12 caseloads and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and assessments for K-12 students
- Analyze data and provide insightful recommendations for student support plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on intervention strategies
- Deliver direct and consultative services to address students’ social, emotional, and academic needs
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation
- Serve as a resource for teachers and parents, promoting best practices in student mental health and learning
