Make an impact supporting students as a school psychologist in a dynamic K-12 setting near Charlotte, NC. This full-time contract position offers 37.5 hours per week, working across elementary, middle, and high school levels. You’ll have the opportunity to provide critical evaluations and assessments, helping shape tailored interventions and care for students from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Current and valid School Psychologist license in North Carolina (NC)
  • Experience or certification in school psychology, with preference for those familiar with K-12 environments
  • Comfortable working across elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Strong skills in conducting evaluations, assessments, and collaborating with educators and families
  • Ability to interpret data and develop recommendations for student support
  • Compassionate, communicative, and collaborative approach

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students in elementary, middle, and high school
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to interpret assessment data and develop student-centered plans
  • Participate in meetings and provide input for IEPs and other intervention strategies
  • Support a diverse caseload, adapting approaches as appropriate for age and need
  • Document and communicate findings and recommendations with clarity and professionalism
  • Help foster a supportive educational environment for all students
