Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current School Psychologist license in North Carolina is required
  • Experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting
  • Strong background in conducting evaluations and assessments
  • Ability to develop effective, individualized intervention strategies
  • Certified and knowledgeable in best practices for school-based psychological services
  • Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and communicating findings to staff and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for students across all grade levels (K-12)
  • Administer assessments and interpret results to develop recommendations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise for both prevention and intervention plans
  • Support teachers and staff by identifying student needs and recommending appropriate strategies
  • Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Provide consultative services to staff and families to foster school success and social-emotional well-being

This is a contract position, offering a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week during the school year. You'll be immersed in a supportive and collaborative school culture, working closely with other professionals dedicated to student development.
