This is a full-time position, offering 37.5 hours per week, working with a diverse K-12 student population. You’ll play a key role by conducting evaluations and assessments to inform academic interventions, develop positive learning environments, and collaborate with fellow educators and families.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid School Psychologist license in North Carolina
  • Experience providing services in elementary, middle, and high school settings
  • Familiarity with K-12 student populations and their developmental needs
  • Strong knowledge of conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations
  • Skills in developing reports, recommendations, and participating in eligibility meetings
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff
  • Collaborative, flexible, and committed to best practices in school psychology

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students K-12
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss findings and recommendations
  • Support the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Offer consultation to teachers, parents, and administrators regarding students’ needs
  • Facilitate crisis intervention and support social-emotional learning programs
  • Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
