Step into a dynamic school setting, supporting students and staff as a full-time School Psychologist for the upcoming first semester. This rewarding contract opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact while covering two consecutive maternity leaves from August 4th through the end of December. With a consistent Monday to Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week, you’ll focus your expertise at an elementary site and help guide students through a crucial period in their academic journey.

What we’re looking for:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification (state requirements must be met)
  • Experience working within school environments, preferably at the elementary level
  • Strong evaluation, counseling, and behavioral intervention skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and parents
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive school atmosphere

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct student assessments and assist in the identification of academic, social, or behavioral needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized plans and interventions
  • Provide direct support and counseling to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success
  • Offer crisis intervention and consult on best practices for positive school climate
  • Participate in student-focused meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
